The Teachers
Beginners are in safe hands with our school teacher and Mum Stephanie.
Stephanie danced ballet as a child and has a natural look to her dancing. She has danced salsa on and off for years.
After her baby girl was born in 2007 she was keen to get back into salsa.
She really enjoys teaching salsa and missed the friendly, social environment salsa generates.
Maria
* While Steph is away settling down and
looking after her 2nd baby Travs, we have Maria to teach the beginners
class. Maria has a magical nature and loves to teach.
Jessica
Jessica started to dance in the summer of 2004.
After meeting her teacher Lee in December of 2004 they soon became close friends with mutual enthusiasm to teach & be taught.
Between his excellent teaching and dance skill and Jessica's motivation to progress she became the true 'Salsara' she is today.
Over the next 4 years she achieved many things from joining a small local dance group to winning 2 titles one of which was 'Semi-Professional Champion 2007' at the national London Latin Fest competition.
Jessica is keen to follow in her teachers footsteps. To teach, inspire and encourage people.
Anthony
Anthony has danced since early 2004.
Also taught predominantly by Jessica's teacher Lee, Anthony has mastered a lovely lead is able to have lots of fun on the dance floor. After his initial slow start at salsa he has now become a confident and safe leader. It has to be said he is true gentleman both on and off the dance floor.
He is passionate about salsa music, mambo in particular and is Salsa Esencia's resident DJ. He is still trying to decide on his DJ name so any ideas will be warmly welcomed!
